As we’re now mid way through February I apologise for the tardiness of this post but here’s to an exciting 2017!
A quick review of last year’s goals is in order…
- Photography essays: kind of achieved. I did complete a series of sweaty walks and visits around the city. I snapped away at whatever caught my eye but am yet to analyse the material in any way.
- Lumion. Yes I made a good effort at learning this piece of software. I really like it and think I would use it a lot more if I didn’t have to switch from my mac to the uhsbabnd’s pc in order to use it.
- Analysis Paralysis. I feel I’ve made good headway with this. Over analysing/procrastination can be avoided when you are able to approach tasks with energy. The key to this has been not taking my phone up to bed (a habit which recently I have slipped back into) and morning exercise. Looking forward I’m excited about building a new routine when we return to the UK later in the year.
New goals…
- Revit. Re-visiting this software is essential. Again its PC based so a review of the machine I use may be required in the not-so distant future.
- Move towards zero waste. Although primarily a domestic goal I would like to extend the principal to my design work.
That is all for now as 2017 will be the year I am repatriated to the UK and this will bring its own specific challenges. The next few months will be my last opportunity to soak up all that makes Bangkok so I very much look forward to that.
