What is renga?
Renga is a form of Japanese poetry that is written collaboratively. Renga design is about working with you to realise your design goals. The best architecture is not a monologue but a conversation between the all of those involved and impacted.
Working as a sole practitioner, with larger practice experience, I provide a design service that is both friendly and professional. As a small practice, your project will receive the full attention it deserves from an experienced, chartered architect supported by carefully selected architectural professionals.

Why Work with an Architect?
Architects have a rigorous, seven-year, design-based training which allows them to provide creative solutions unparalleled by other architectural professionals. Registered architects are regulated by the Architect's Registration Board (ARB) and must adhere to the Architect's Standards of Conduct and Practice which ensures that you can be confident your architect is suitably qualified and fit to practise.
Experience
I have worked for local practices across a range of building projects including offices at Glasshouse studios, Steps youth club in Weymouth, Hamworthy library, one off luxury homes and a BALI award winning garden.
Education
I originally trained as a garden designer at the Arts University Bournemouth and Kingston Maurward college in Dorchester culminating in he creation of a small show garden at the RHS Hampton Court Palace flower show. I then studied architecture at Plymouth and London South Bank university with my professional practice exams taken at Portsmouth University.

Bring me your Design Problems
My goal is to impact lives in a positive way through sensitive, intelligent and joyful design, building responsibly with the environment in mind.
While much of my current work is domestic previous industry experience of commercial projects and public buildings ensures a wide knowledge base, the ability to coordinate a team and understanding of the commercial pressures of construction.
What we like most at Renga Design is a problem. The opportunity to sit down and work through project specific challenges in a creative way is what really gets us going.

How can I help you?
With training in garden design and architecture I uniquely offer architectural services with the ability to include your outside spaces which results in the full consideration of place making; maximising the value and enjoyment of your property.
I am able to advise from inception to completion working to a schedule and budget that fits your needs.
Please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss your project; however big or small. I look forward to hearing from you.
