This walk was a real delight.
So easy to do just get off the BTS at National stadium. Do a little loop through Ratchatewi to see the railway (watch out for the rats!) then up to Victory monument. Grab some boat noodles at Wat Makok and make sure you have battery left in your camera for Phaya Thai Palace- I sadly didn’t so will have to go back.
Sadly since dropping the Nikon D7000 in the sea in Bali it’s been draining battery (although I’m lucky it works at all) so I was forced to use the D40. The images aren’t quite up to what they normally are but I’ve still made a full set on Flickr though as I think they do a fair job of capturing the main sights. There was plenty of colour and some strange graffiti under the flyover on Phetchaburi road which was very intriguing- is it directions? It looked like a diagrammatic map- hard to tell.
